Adults can just walk-in and get their first or second dose of the Covid vaccine in west Wales until Sunday

Adults who have missed or not yet had their coronavirus jab will be able to show up at their nearest vaccination centre without an appointment to receive their first or second dose in west Wales.

People living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire are now able to attend walk-in clinics from Thursday, June 17, to Sunday, June 20. Hywel Dda University Health Board is encouraging adults to turn up and receive their dose of either the Pfizer or Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine. Vaccines will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

Latest figures show that, across Wales, 2,225,499 people have had a first dose of the Covid vaccine, and 1,454,064 have had both doses.
