Adult baby who wears nappies says unusual community is about comfort NOT sex

This 28-year-old says wearing nappies, and using a pacifier makes her feel better.

Lucy, 28, lives in Philidelphia, USA and works as a cyber security analyst, and enjoys dressing as a baby in her free time.

Lucy says she started to realise she was interested in diapers as a nine-year-old after her baby sister was born and she would steal them to wear herself because they made her feel better.

It wasn’t until she was a teenager and did some research of her own that she discovered there was a community of people who felt the same as her - the Adult Baby/Diaper Lover (ABDL) community.

Now she has hit back at trolls as she says it’s just a part of her personality and there’s nothing sexual about it.

While she’s never received any negative comments, ex-partners of hers have received comments from people saying what they do is ‘messed up’.

"I was eight or nine years old when I first got these feelings and it was very confusing,” said Lucy.

'I didn’t find out adult babies existed until I was a teenager and I did some Google searching of my own when I was thirteen. Until then, it never occurred to me that there would be more people like me.

'I try to use the bathroom like a normal person until it’s night time and try not to let it affect my day to day life, my friendships or my career.

'It’s something my mum knows about but apart from that I keep it private.

'I have a good career and I’m good at my job but deep down I still feel like I’m a little kid.”

Spending £70 - £100 ($90 - $120) per month maintaining her lifestyle, she says most of her cost is on diapers, but she also buys new outfits and onesies for Instagram too.

Her boyfriend is accepting of it too - even reading her bedtime stories before she goes to sleep.

'My current boyfriend isn’t into the community but he reads me fairytales before bed and that makes me feel really comfortable,” added Lucy.

"It’s part of my personality and by posting about it on Instagram, I get comments from people telling me I’m good looking which is nice.

"I was hesitant about making content and sharing pictures but I get lots of positive comments and it makes me feel really cute.

"Sometimes I get comments that are too sexual and if someone says something really provocative or they ask me to do things I’m not comfortable with I usually ignore it.”
