Adult and 2 children rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in nursery toilet

The life of a firefighter is varied - and this morning crews rescued an adult and two children who found themselves locked in a toilet.

The incident happened at Busy Bees Nursery at University Park, off Beeston Lane, on Tuesday morning (September 7).

Crews from the Highfields Fire Station attended - and the adult and children have been released, the fire service said in a Tweet.

It's been a busy morning for the Highfields station, and crews also helped to release a child who was locked in a car near the Lakeside Arts Centre.
