Adrien Rabiot 'could still make Man Utd move' as he eyes summer transfer

Adrien Rabiot could pull the plug on a torrid last six months at PSG with a summer move to the Premier League, with Manchester United keeping tabs on the midfielder.

The France international is out of contract this summer and refused to sign a new deal, resulting in his exclusion from the French champions squad since December.

A frosty relationship between Rabiot and sporting director Antero Henrique emerged when the latter publicly criticised the midfielder, who was seen out in Paris after the club's defeat to the Red Devils in the Champions League.

However, Henrique will leave his position and be replaced by Leonardo who returns after a six year absence. Reports suggested his arrival could tempt Rabiot to remain in the French capital.

It is rumoured the Brazilian has offered Rabiot the chance to revive his career with the Parisians, something which has been backed by German boss Thomas Tuchel.

Although, the treatment received by the 24-year-old is likely to have pushed him closer to the exit door, according to a source close to the saga who spoke with RMC Sport.

They said: "Given the end of the history between us, as we are still in legal conflict, given what has happened for a year, it's not even a possibility studied."

During the 2018/19 season, Rabiot featured just 14 times in Ligue 1 netting two goals and collecting one assist. He made six other appearances across the Champions League and the Trophee des Champions, equivalent to the Community Shield.

It remains to be seen where Rabiot's future lies however, a summer switch could still be on the cards with Manchester United one of several clubs waiting to pounce.
