Adrian Sporle reveals Dundee United isolation as Argentine defender points to panic buying impact

Adrian Sporle has opened up on his feeling of isolation at Dundee United as panic buying leaves supermarket shelves empty.

The left-back joined from Banfield in the summer and has helped Robbie Neilson 's side establish a massive lead at the top of the table.

However, the coronavirus shutdown means the Championship is on hold and Sporle admits to feeling somewhat lost.

"In Scotland, we are not yet in mandatory quarantine and we have the option to leave if we want. But they have closed all the places where people meet.

"Football is stopped and we are on holiday until April 13, but I can't go home to my beloved Centenario either.

"The only time I go out now is to do the shopping to get necessities and I try to keep everything clean using gel.

"But the other day I went to the supermarket and I couldn't even get anything there. Everything was out of stock. There are so many products here that are not available.

"And to top it all, at the end of February my girlfriend left too."
