Adrian shares emotional moment with fans with as West Ham career set to end

West Ham goalkeeper Adrian took a moment after full time to acknowledge the West Ham fans as he seemed to bid farewell to them following the 4-1 final day victory against Watford.

The Spanish stopper has been firmly number two this season behind Hammer of the Year winner Lukasz Fabianski and is out of contract this summer and is set to be released.

Adrian joined West Ham on a free transfer in 2013 from Real Betis and he went on to make exactly 150 appearances for the club but just five this season in cup competitions.

The keeper is still a hugely popular figure in east London, not least in the final season at the the Boleyn when the Hammers secured a seventh place finish under Slaven Bilic.

Every word Manuel Pellegrini just said on Declan Rice, West Ham's season and more

And at full time on Sunday, as with all the other players, they went over to applaud the visiting fans for their efforts throughout the 38 game season.

Adrian though was the last to leave the field, as you can see via our video above, as he shared an emotional moment with the fans as they serenaded him and thanked him for his service to the club.
