Adrian's remarkable month will live long in the memory for new Liverpool signing

Liverpool goalkeeper Adrian has took to social media to reflect on what has been a sensational debut month at Anfield.

The 32-year-old was brought in on a free transfer to provide back up to Alisson following Simon Mignolet's departure.

With Alisson having started all but two games for the Reds last term it looked unlikely Adrian would feature heavily this season.

But the former West Ham 'keeper was called to the fore when the Brazil international sustained a muscle injury during Liverpool's Premier League opener against Norwich City.

With Adrian called up to replace the injured Alisson as the Reds ran out 3-1 winners at Anfield.

The Spaniard was next called into action as Liverpool travelled to Istanbul for a Super Cup clash with Chelsea.

Adrian was the hero on the night as he denied Tammy Abraham in the penalty shootout to see Liverpool claim their second piece of silverware under Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds then enjoyed wins against Southampton and Arsenal before the shot-stopper recorded his first clean sheet in Saturday's 3-0 victory over Burnley.
