Adrian Portelli Takes Brutal Swipe At The Block On IG Stories Following That Wild Finale

Billionaire-bidder-turned-reality-TV-rival Adrian Portelli has brutally thrown shade at The Block following its doozy of a 2025 finale.

Over the weekend, The Block‘s most explosive season ended in a fiery Auction Day with two houses — House One and House Two — being unfortunately passed in.

However, alongside the massive finale lows, Portelli’s absence was also noticeable, especially since last year, the Lambo Guy bought every single house up for grabs before he kissed the home reno’s show goodbye.

But in a move that has further fuelled rumours of a feud between Portelli and The Block, the entrepreneur has thrown some massive shade at the beloved reality TV series.

Taking to Instagram shortly after the finale, Portelli shared a selfie with a series of cricket emojis, which could be a jab at the two houses that failed to sell.

This was then followed by a direct jab at The Block, where he scribbled out the logo and wrote the name of his incoming show on top of the doodle.

My Reno Rules,” the text reads alongside the Seven Network logo.

Rumours of a cheeky beef have been bubbling since the middle of the year, after a rumour claiming Portelli had been banned from appearing at The Block‘s Auction Day surfaced.

The Block host Scott Cam addressed the rumours in July, when he admitted that he asked Portelli not to show up for the finale in an interview with Nova 96.9’s Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Richie.

“To be honest, we said to Adrian, ‘We’d love you not to come next year, if that’s all right.’ But you know it’s up to him, it’s a public auction and he can do whatever he wants,” Cam said.

“He said he won’t come, but he may come. We don’t know, but we do want to give mums and dads the opportunity to have a crack at a Block house.”

In response to Cam, the high baller took to his IG Stories, claiming he was “talking porkies”.

“Scotty, you’re talking porkies,” Portelli penned.

“I told you guys I was leaving. There was never a conversation of being to sit out of this season.”

In a second IG Story, Portelli referenced a snippet from Cam’s interview where he said: “Aussie families have a chance to buy these homes”.

“Hyped up, overvalued, multi-million dollar homes. Just what the average Australian family can afford,” Portelli wrote.

However, ahead of Auction Day, an insider claimed to PEDESTRIAN.TV that he’d actually been banned, stating that Portelli had “been made to feel very unwelcome”.

Cam denied these rumours once more, telling The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick Portelli might be busy with his new Channel Seven show, My Reno Rules.

At the time of writing, Cam has not responded to these cheeky clapbacks from Portelli, and honestly, I don’t think the bloke would.

Portelli’s tidbit of shade comes shortly after whispers began to swirl regarding Cam’s future as The Block host.

That’s according to an anonymous caller who phoned into Triple M’s Breakfast with Beau, Cat, and Woodsy, and claimed that tradies on the 2025 season of The Block heard that this was Cam’s last season.

This rumour has yet to be confirmed, but if it’s legit, it will truly be the end of an era and IDK if I can handle that.
