Adrian Peterson moves to 5th all-time on touchdown list

Former Vikings running back Adrian Peterson ran just 10 times for 25 yards on Sunday against the Cowboys, but the Redskins running back did find the end zone once.

That gives him 107 career rushing touchdowns, a mark that breaks a tie with Jim Brown and moves Peterson to fifth on the all-time list.

Peterson is now three rushing touchdowns from tying Walter Payton for fourth all-time.

As far as yards go, Peterson’s 13,434 rushing yards rank eighth on the all-time list, 319 yards behind Jerome Bettis for seventh.

With Derrius Guice out for the foreseeable future with the Redskins, Peterson will likely continue to get touches, so moving up on both lists is probable.

Peterson and the Redskins next play in Week 3 on Monday Night Football at home against the Bears.
