Adrian Peterson and Alex Smith shine in ‘2019 Bad NFL Lip Reading’

Everybody’s favorite NFL tradition is back: Laughing along to Bad NFL Lip Reading.

In the 2019 version of the video, a multitude of NFL players are featured mouthing nonsensical phrases, highlighted by 49ers quarterback Nick Mullens frantically trying to read a defense. However, at the 4:25 mark, Redskins running back Adrian Peterson gets his shine.

An alias as somebody named “Jeffery Sphincter” and a bizarre pre-game routine leaves Peterson looking at his feet before he takes the field. Sources are currently unable to confirm whether or not this is factually correct.

Later in the video, Washington QB Alex Smith makes an appearance (at the 5:11 mark) calling out pre-snap checks to the line. The clip ends with the ball being snapped too soon, and glancing off of Smith’s shoulder pad while he sports a funny expression.

That last bit may have been a little too real for Redskin fans.
