Adrian 'Lionheart' McCallum: GoFundMe page raises more than £12,000 for wrestler's funeral

A fundraiser for wrestling star Adrian 'Lionheart' McCallum has smashed £12,000 in under 24 hours.

Fans, friends and colleagues have rallied after the devastating news of his death on Wednesday.

And a GoFundMe campaign set up by Glasgow-based Insane Championship Wrestling, where Adrian was champion, is helping to pay for his fitting send-off.

Posting on the page, ICW said: "We are heartbroken to learn of the death of Adrian 'Lionheart' McCallum.

"Adrian was a mainstay of British professional wrestling.

"Most importantly, he was our friend.

"His passing leaves a huge hole in the lives of those who knew him.

"All donations will be sent to Adrian's family to help with funeral costs."
