Comedy legend Adrian Edmondson has had quite the bank holiday weekend – becoming something of a spectacle when he found himself trapped on a window ledge.
The 64-year-old funnyman was using his weekend to do some house chores when things took a dramatic turn.
Adrian was at his home cleaning the windows when he managed to trap himself outside on the ledge.
The local fire brigade came to rescue the Bottom actor – while a crowd gathered to watch the scene and rescue mission unfold.

Taking to social media on Sunday, Ade shared his tale with followers, writing: “Just trapped myself on a window ledge whilst cleaning the windows.
“Had to ask passerby to fetch help. Fire Brigade came. Small crowd gathered - thoroughly enjoying themselves.”
He continue: “[Fire Brigade] very kind and didn’t snigger too much as they rescued me.”
He added: “How’s your Bank Holiday?”

Passerby Duncan Cumming, 46, has been unveiled as the good samaritan who called the Fire Brigade to rescue Ade when he saw him trapped outside.
He said: "I saw someone on the roof and thought it looked risky - but when I got closer I knew who it was.
"He shouted to me that he was locked out and asked if I would phone for the fire brigade, which of course I did."
"I left once I knew he was ok, but it's not what you see every day.
"Occasionally in London, you do see famous people out and about - just not usually on a window ledge!"
Adrian’s report of the incident was met with widespread amusement from followers.
One relieved fan tweeted: “Pleased you’re ok @AdrianEdmondson but otherwise hilarious!”
Another suggested: “Next time @AdrianEdmondson please get a window cleaner.”

While others remarked that the incident was like life imitating art, sharing video clips of The Young Ones where Ade, playing Vyvyan "Vyv" Basterd, smashed through a window to enter a flat.
And another fan was reminded of an episode of Bottom – which Ade starred in alongside the late Rik Mayall.
They tweeted: “Reminds me of the Bottom episode where you was trapped on the shop roof with Rik.”
