A Wicklow pooch has shown his undying love for trains as he gets up at the crack of dawn every day to run alongside them in Wicklow.
Adorable Hobbes, who's named after the famous Calvin and Hobbes comic strip, gives chase to the 6.48am from Gorey to Dublin every day without fail.
Unfortunately the train always seems to win in the end but that doesn't seem to dampen his spirits as he's straight up again at the next oppurtunity.
The Cockapoo has built quite a social media following for his love of the beach and trains as owner Marc Diamond has been uploading his antics online.
He said: "Everyday the Gorey train comes rumbling past and Hobbes faithfully chases it along the path at breakneck sprint before returning absolutely delighted with himself. Never fails to make me smile."
