Adorable video shows Vicki the fox invading Hibs pitch and running off with player's shirt

An adorable fox, named 'Vicki the Easter Road Vixen' by Hibernian staff, has moved into the grounds of Easter Road Stadium to keep players on their toes while there are no fans.

Vicki the fox couldn't believe her luck when lockdown happened and quickly seized the opportunity to claim Hibernian Stadium as her own mansion.

In recent weeks, the fox has been spotted roaming around the players tunnel, visiting where the fans would usually sit, and even interacting with footballers on the pitch.

Now the mischievous fox is being considered a good luck charm as 'she's never seen the team beaten.'

Yesterday the Easter Road team managed to thump Dundee 4-1 in the Betfred Cup, and of course lucky fox Vicki had been roaming around the stadium.

Hibs Safety Officer Gordon Jackson posted some adorable pictures and a video of Vicki before the game which you can watch here, writing: 'Vicki the Easter Road Vixen gate crashed the game again tonight...she's been to more games this season than any of our fans and Sunshine the Leith Lynx had better watch out as she's never seen the team beaten."

The cheeky fox was also spotted after the game on the pitch running off with one of the players' tops.

Another video shared last night shows a cheeky exchange between Hibs goalkeeper Dillon Barnes and the clearly confident fox who appears to want to play with him.
