This adorable footage shows an innovative group of North Dublin kids taking a trip to a McDonald's Drive Thru in their very own cardboard cars.
The group of kids from the New Life Centre in Darndale rolled up to the McDonald's on the Malahide Road with their colourful creations this afternoon.
The kids had been part of a five-week summer camp, all separated into safe pods as per the current HSE guidelines regarding the coronavirus.
We've all asked ourselves at some stage if McDonald's would serve you on foot or on a bike in the Drive Thru, but the lucky group got to live out that mini-fantasy in a creative way.
Chicken nuggets and chips was the order of the day as on by one the kids fed their orders in before moving on to the collection window.
The summer camp team wanted to extend their thanks to the staff at the restaurant, as well as "everyone involved in helping us with getting our centre ready through these difficult times, and especially for the parents and staff for trusting us with their children."
"We have applications available from 5-10 years old for September," they added.
"Hope everyone stays save."
