Adorable pair of abandoned kittens rescued by Dublin Fire Brigade after fire in west Dublin

Two adorable kittens have managed a lucky escape after being rescued from a raging fire in west Dublin.

Members of Dublin Fire Brigade saved the pair after the blaze broke out in the area of Clondalkin.

Thankfully, the kittens escaped any serious injury, and are being cared for by members of the DFB.

Its not the first time the firefighters have come to the rescue of our feline friends recently, with members using a large ladder to rescue a kitten stuck at the top of a tree in July.

Just days before that, they came to the aid of a cat who had become trapped between a wall cavity in Kilbarrack.

Considering how lovable the two kittens are, we're sure they'll need no luck finding a new forever home!
