A pensioner living with dementia could be top of the charts after recording a single for charity .

Last week we told how a video of Margaret Mackie performing My Way at her care home in Edinburgh went viral.

The 83-year-old, who can't remember most things from one day to the next, wowed when she sang the Frank Sinatra hit word perfect at Northcare Suites Care Home with hospitality worker, Jamie Lee Morley.

Bowled over by the response to the heartwarming clip, part-time singer Jamie, 31, wanted to take Margaret's musical journey further.

The pair recorded a version of My Way at Sound Sound Studio in Edinburgh on Monday, with plans to release the single for charity.

Jamie told the Record: "The session was amazing.

"Margaret was such a pro, she was calm, patient and sang brilliantly.
