The young girl attended one of the first lady’s signings for her memoir Becoming.
She can be seen bounding towards Ms Obama, jumping with excitement.
The video has been viewed over three million times on Twitter.
Identifying herself as ‘Solice’, the young girl tells Ms Obama that meeting her is exciting.
People around the pair can be seen laughing and smiling as they continue to talk.
Ms Obama tells her: “Solice! I’m meeting Solice!”
The girl then walks up behind the former first lady’s desk and gives her a big hug.
She tells the young girl: “You have the best hugs in the world.”
