Artemis II astronaut Cristina Koch’s adorable reunion with her dog following her historic trip to space was caught on camera.
Koch and her crew splashed down safely back to Earth on Friday (10 April) after a 10-day journey to circle the moon.
Video posted to Instagram captured Koch, the first woman to travel to the vicinity of the moon, being welcomed home by her dog Sadie. Sadie can be seen wagging her tail in excitement as Koch drops to her knees to embrace her.
In another clip, the astronaut and her dog run playfully along a beach together.
