Adorable footage shows nursery kids enjoying Ceilidh dance lesson from pensioners at day care centre

This is the moment a group of cute tots were given dancing lessons from their elders while visiting a day care centre.

The kids from ABC Nursery spent some time out of class to help brighten up the days of the elderly visitors to Ecclefechan Day Centre.

The adorable lesson was capture on camera by manager Allison Menzies and shows six tots dancing away to Ceilidh music with their partners.

The tea dance happens every week but this was the first time the youngsters had popped in, but it won't be the last.

Allison told the Daily Record : "You just can't tell who is having more fun, everyone was loving it.

"It was just brilliant to watch, we said to the kids 'go pick a lady to dance with' and off they went. We danced to lots of songs, including the Grand Old Duke of York and others. "

The children, aged between three and five, all took to the dancefloor to twirl and jump around.

The video was shared on the day centre's Facebook page with the message: "We had ABC Nursery children in today, these kids had never been in before but they joined in and loved it.

"As did our members."

The children could give the Strictly Come Dancing professionals a run for their money soon!
