Adorable fluffy baby swans appear on Water of Leith Walkway in Edinburgh

An Edinburgh woman has been following the journey of two Edinburgh swans and their fluffy babies while out for her daily exercise in Edinburgh.

Caroline Tait first noticed two swans at Craiglockhart Pond in Edinburgh six weeks ago when she began her daily walks.

She decided to name the couple of swans Brighid and Siegfried and looked forward to visiting them every day on her social distancing outing.

While out on her recent walk to visit the swans, Caroline was surprised to see that Brighid had become a mummy swan and Siegfried a daddy swan.

The Edinburgh local was "delighted" to see that the swan couple has welcomed some fluffy swan cygnets.

In the pictures sent to Edinburgh Live by Caroline, you can see the proud mummy swan tending to the adorable grey, fluffy baby birds.
