Adorable Edinburgh teddy 'ends homophobia' in viral tweet

A woman's picture of her adorable Scottish teddy and his furry friends challenging homophobia has gone viral after her daughter shared it on Twitter.

Lauren Faulkner, from Edinburgh, posted a snap of her mum's Instagram account 'tedstravels2020', where she posts images of her teddy on holiday.

In the tweet that has now had over three thousand retweets, and over forty two thousand likes, she said: "My mum has just officially ended homophobia in a post on her teddy's instagram"

The picture featured the bear and a host of other Scottish teddies, describing each of them as having a different gender, sexual orientation or mental health issue, but all still being friends.

Nearly a hundred people commented on the photo as well, with one person writing: "We have no choice to stan both your mum and ted."

The caption read: "These are Ted's best friends, in their Sunday best - one is lesbian, one is gay, one is bi, one is trans, one is non-binary, the other one has mental health issues. Can you tell which one is which?.......No? Great, because Ted doesn't care"

Other commenters shared their appreciation for the post, with one commenting "this is so precious", and another stating "this is Scottish queer representation".

One person tweeted: "This is iconic, protect her at all costs." To which Lauren replied: "She is so precious it hurts
