Adorable dog leaves people baffled as face looks so human it doesn't seem real

There's nothing we love more than getting to pet a cute dog, but if we can't have a real one, we'll settle for a photo of one.

And there's some particularly great dog photos doing the rounds online right now.

A toy poodle named Kokoro has captured the hearts of social media users after pictures of the little pup were shared on Twitter.

A Twitter user named @keatxngrant uploaded four photos of the adorable pooch, writing: "I thought Twitter deserved to see this fluffy dog."

His post quickly went viral, garnering over 129,000 likes and over 30,000 retweets.

Thousands also commented on the tweet, with many unable to get over how human Kokoro's facial expressions look.

One baffled person asked: "CUTE AKDJSHHS why does it look so human-like?"

Another commented: "That's a bear, or a really hairy man."

A few people didn't even think Kokoro looked real, with someone writing: "I thought this dog was a toy!"

Meanwhile some thought the dog looked like Bob Ross, with a different user saying: "This dog is out there, looking like Bob Ross, and life is better for it."

And others couldn't help but compare the dog to the Ewok creatures from Star Wars.

"This dog looks like a cross between a tiny bear cub, an ewok, and Bob Ross and I love that," replied a different user.

A second added: "That’s an Ewok from a Star Wars behind-the-scenes documentary."

Despite social media users not being able to agree on what the dog looks like - one thing is for certain, people think he's adorable!

If you liked the photos of Kokoro then you're in luck as the cute creature has his own Instagram account with the username Kokoro_Official where you'll find even more images as well as some videos.

According to the page, Kokoro lives in Japan.

The dog has garnered plenty of attention on that platform as well, with over 144,000 followers.
