- Adolescence star Stephen Graham has revealed he experienced a medical emergency on a flight to the US, where he urinated blood in the plane's bathroom.
- The actor had previously undergone a procedure to enlarge his prostate, which he believed caused the issue during the flight.
- He said he began having “a slight panic attack” and said “it was very scary”.
- A doctor and a surgeon, who happened to be on the same flight, assisted Graham by sterilising a lounge area and using a catheter from the plane’s emergency medical kit to resolve the problem.
- He was told the issue had been caused by a clot that had got stuck behind his urethra. The operation gave him instant relief, he said.
