The Administrative Court has launched around the clock online petition submissions under its e-court system, saying that it will be more convenient and speed up the processing of cases pending in court.

Those interested in using this service will be required to register online using their ID cards to verify their identity before they can begin making out a petition online or submit a pre-written one.

The system is connected to the Department of Provincial Administration’s civil registration system, said Bun-anan Wanphanit, a Supreme Administrative Court judge. At this point, hard copy petitions will still be allowed along with the electronic ones, he said.

In future, users will also be able to track the progress of their cases through the court online as well, he added.
