Adlene Guedioura reveals Nottingham Forest regret as he sends message to fans

Adlene Guedioura says he would love to have played for Nottingham Forest in the Premier League after completing his move away from the club.

The Algerian international has joined Qatari side Al Gharafa for an undisclosed fee having played exclusively for the Reds in the Championship.

His departure concludes a third spell at the City Ground and the 33-year-old has now taken to Twitter to thank fans for their support.

In his message, he said: "One of my big wish in my career was to start a Premier League season as a Forest player, but you can't control destiny.

"Thank you again for your tremendous support and for the love you gave me."

He returned to the City Ground for his third spell in January 2018 and made 28 appearances last season, scoring two goals. He was instrumental for his country as they triumphed in last month’s African Cup of Nations.
