Aditya Narayan reveals he sang this year's biggest film song; claims his version was replaced by a 'big singer'

Aditya Narayan recently revealed that he sang one of the biggest songs of this year. However, he also claimed that his version of the song was replaced by a 'big singer'.

Spilling some beans on the same, Aditya said he had sung a very big song this year, and his rendition was replaced at the last minute. He also admitted that the incident left him very upset. The singer added that he will talk about it more in the future after a little bit of time has passed.

Elaborating further, Aditya claimed that it was the biggest song of his career. He said that it was the makers and not the music composer who decided to go the conventional route and pick another singer. They replaced him with the best. Although he was looking forward to the song, he added that it’s part and parcel of life. He is just happy that the composers are calling him, Aditya told Hindustan Times.

Aditya went on to add how a lot of singers have in the past voiced their sadness at being replaced in a song without even being notified. The singer makes it clear that there is never a contract that ensures that the song featuring a particular singer will be the final version—recordings are done in good faith. However, in Bollywood, there is not one person who takes the call—producers, actors, everyone is involved.

When asked if this leads to ill relations with the people who replaced him, Aditya said that there is a possibility of that happening. However, he is okay with it now. He was initially upset when that song was playing everywhere. According to him, he had done an equally good job. At the same time, he thinks from another perspective. He might have also sung the songs which were first given to someone else.
