We may be some way off the 2022 Champions League final in St Petersburg but preparations are already in place.
Bookies make the usual suspects the favourites, but as we all know in cup competition, anything can happen.
One thing we do know that will be there, however, is the newly-unveiled Adidas Champions League ball.
Originally earmarked for last year's final, the matchday ball will make up part of Adidas' "Finale" range that has been in place since they took over previous ball supplier Nike in 2000.
While not yet available for purchase, fans can expect to pay it somewhere in the region of £120 if previous years are anything to go by.
Like other "Finale" footballs, the design incorporates the Champions League "starball" logo.
Upon its initial release, Adidas claimed the ball to be "softer, faster and more accurate" than any other they had designed.
The 'official' matchday ball is also likely to contain something in commemoration of the two competing teams.
In previous finals, Adidas' "finale" ball has contained the host city, team names and, on occasion, flags that represent the two finalists.
For a short period between 2006 and 2011, it became a tradition for the Champions League holders to play with the final matchday ball in next year's tournament.
Last year's final was originally due to take in St Petersburg but was moved at the last minute to Istanbul. Inscriptions have now been updated to 2022.
