Adidas trainers which went on sale at Size? in Liverpool last week are already selling online for quadruple the price.
Last week, shoppers queued for days in advance in the hopes of getting their hands on the new Adidas Originals trainers.
Around 500 people queued outside the Bold Street store to get their hands on the £90 trainers, which are based on the classic terrace-style silhouette, featuring a green suede upper with yellow-gold stripes on the sidewall, with a gum midsole, and finished with gold embossing.
Now, just days after the release the trainers have made their way on to eBay - and they’re being sold for £400.
Ahead of the release it was believed that only 350 pairs of trainers were available in store, and Size? limited the sales to one per customer.
There are several pairs of the limited edition trainers listed on eBay now in varying sizes, with prices ranging from £310 - £450, which is significantly more than the original £90 price tag.
The limited edition trainers pay homage to the first Size? and Adidas Originals collaboration in 2010, which celebrated six cities around the UK.
The new trainers continue the iconic series, taking inspiration from the twin cities of the original six, Liverpool and Dublin.
Across the year there will also be more releases inspired by the twin cities of the original series’ London, Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff, and Birmingham pairs.
