Sports manufacturers Adidas have released a new limited-edition range of Marvel X-Men football boots.
Their famous Predator boots have been given a 'superhuman' makeover with designs inspired by characters Wolverine and Cyclops.
The Wolverine boots feature claw-style spikes that are described as having 'mutated to give you freakish control', while the Cyclops boots' springy Carbitex carbon-fibre technology is designed to 'give you superhuman acceleration'.

Available in both kids and adult sizes, prices in the range do start from a rather eye-watering £130.
The adult range includes sizes between 6 and 13, but will only be available while stocks last.
They are two of many items available on the Adidas website's special-edition range, that also includes the Lionel Messi-inspired Nemeziz boots that have now been reduced by up to 30%
