Normally, it’s Nike’s SNKRS app that gets the full wrath of sneaker Twitter on release day. But on Thursday? The blame shifted squarely on to Adidas’ new CONFIRMED app.
Think of CONFIRMED as their response to the SNKRS app, but with a bit more weekly content to go along with their sneaker releases. Sounds pretty nice, right?
On Friday, it was not. Sneakerheads everywhere were preparing to go on the app for the new Yeezy Foam Runners — slide-on clog shoes from Kanye West.
What they ran into were all sorts of troubles with the app and absolutely not a single sneaker to show for it.
Sneaker Twitter was highly upset.
