Adele special One Night Only trailer released as she sits down with Oprah for chat

The first trailer for Adele's CBS special Adele: One Night Only has been released, with the special featuring an in-depth chat with Oprah Winfrey.

Adele, 33, looked phenomenal in the trailer - which was shared on CBS' social media - as she donned a classy white suit with sequinned details.

She also rocked a giant teardrop earring as the clip shared glimpses of her chat with none other than Oprah, 67.

Their chat took place in CBS journalist Gayle King's backyard.

In the trailer, the Someone Like You singer says: "It will look really elegant and then I'll tell a load of filthy jokes and stand-up, so it'll be real whiplash!"

The clip then cuts to Adele singing Rolling In The Deep in an 'extraordinary concert performance that includes the earliest opportunity to hear her first new material in six years'.

She took to the stage at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, California for the special concert which had Lizzo, Gabrielle Union and her husband Dwyane Wade attending.

Adele One Night Only will be a two-hour special that will air on the US channel on November 14.

Oprah said in the trailer: "It's a very special night, join me when I interview the one and only Adele."

The singer then said to the camera: "I invite you to join me for one night only."

Adele One Night Only is set to air on ITV later this month.

Her album, 30, is being released on November 19 and explores her divorce from businessman Simon Konecki.

The two tied the knot in 2018 but split a year later. They share nine-year-old son Angelo together.

Adele’s new record is said to have been heavily inspired by her divorce, with the star saying she hopes it will help her son understand why she divorced his father.

She told Vogue last month: “We got married when I was 30… and then I left. When I was 30, my entire life fell apart and I had no warning of it."

She continued: "I wanted to explain to him through this record, when he's in his twenties or thirties, who I am and why I voluntarily chose to dismantle his entire life in the pursuit of my own happiness.

"It made him really unhappy sometimes. And that's a real wound for me that I don't know if I'll ever be able to heal."
