Adele’s long-awaited new album is due to be released in November, Billboard reports. She first hinted at an album called 25 in May 2014, but there has been no sign of the record, and her publicists have refused to confirm or deny any speculation on its release date.

According to Billboard, she has worked with an array of writers and producers on the record. The magazine says Danger Mouse has worked on it, and songwriters involved include Max Martin, Ryan Tedder and Tobias Jesso Jr.

Jesso was the subject of one of Adele’s seven tweets so far this year, when she posted his track How Could You Babe with the words: “This is fantastic, click away.” The clip has since had more than 700,000 views – 130,000 of those within a fortnight of Adele’s tweet, when Jesso was still a complete unknown.

Adele’s second album, 2011’s 21, has been the best-selling album of this decade, according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, topping the charts in more than 30 countries, and entering the charts at No 1 in both the US and the UK. It also won her best album awards at both the Grammys and the Brits.

In the UK alone, it is the best-selling album of the century. According to the Official Charts Company, it had sold more than 4.7m copies in the UK alone by March of this year.
