Adele’s classroom concert, Captain America, Klopp does Scouse - viral video

Adele sings on The Jimmy Fallon show … backed by a band on kids’ instruments.

With Thanksgiving over for another year and the heartwarming American tradition of Black Friday upon us, let’s start this week’s roundup with a couple of videos from across the pond (depending on where you are, of course).

The first is Adele appearing on the Jimmy Fallon show to sing Hello, with backing from classroom instruments – Christmas number one, anyone? The second is to please (or hugely annoy, if you’re of the Sheldon Cooper ilk) any comic book fans out there … it’s the first official trailer for Captain America: Civil War.

Heading down under (again, depending on where you are – we’re very location-conscious here at Guardian Towers) and a little chap is on the field at an Australian baseball match to sing the national anthem. Does an attack of hiccups cause him to stop? Not a chance, mate.

Football now, and Jürgen Klopp has been winning over Liverpool fans as the new Reds boss with some eye-catching results – and his star is bound to rise even further with Kopites when they see Herr Klopp’s attempts to master the mysteries of Scouse.

It’s been in the news this year that Amazon is testing drones to evaluate their potential for delivering stuff we don’t need even more efficiently and without the need for pesky humans. Company founder Jeff Bezos is aiming even higher than mere drones though, and has his eyes on the final frontier. Judging by this video of his Blue Origin team’s test of the New Shepard space vehicle, Jeff might be boldly going to the stars above sooner rather than later.

Slightly less technological, but impressive all the same, have a gander at Lucas Etter completing a Rubik’s Cube. Less than five seconds? Where’s the fun in that?

Are film-makers starting to run out of ideas? Endless sequels and then characters from different films appearing in another one together … think Alien v Predator etc. Well we are all for it if it leads to what is bound to be the best film of 2016 – it’s Pride & Prejudice … aaaand ZOMBIES! Perfection.

Thanksgiving and space have already been mentioned in this week’s chart, so why not marry them up? Here’s how astronauts on the International Space Station prepare America’s favourite meal.

To (w)rap up, who doesn’t love a celebrity trying to rap? Well, practically everyone as it happens – but Tom Hanks makes a decent fist of it on The Graham Norton Show. And what looked like was going to be one of those cutesy-wutesy kid-and-animal videos takes a twist when a gorilla practises some sign language.

Happy bargain hunting, folks!
