Adele's £140m divorce details to be kept secret after split from Simon Konecki

A judge has ruled that details of Adele's divorce to Simon Konecki will never be made public.

A court in the US has decided that what happens to the superstar's £140million fortune after the split will be kept secret.

The singer and charity boss worked ended their marriage after eight years together last April.

But it is widely understood a pre-nup arrangement had not been agreed.

Adele is getting ready for a huge relaunch with her new album set to hit shelves in September.

It will be her first release since her album 25, five years ago.

But first she has legal matters to deal with but fans are unlikely to find out any of the settlement details.

A source told The Sun : “Hollywood divorces can drag on for years and become extremely ugly. Adele and Simon clearly don’t want that.

“They are both committed to keeping the details as private as possible for the sake of their son. They are trying to work out their issues.”

Since the split, it was rumoured the Hello singer had been on dates with grime artist Skepta.

She separated from Simon a year ago after getting together in 2011.

They were married in 2017 and they have a seven-year-old son, Angelo.

After the split was announced, a source close to the singer said: "Publicly, Adele is saying as little as possible about the split.

"But, privately, she's been very open about the fact that she and Simon have already divorced.

"She's been telling friends that the marriage is done and dusted."

The star is looking to the future and the world awaits her new record, due to be released in six months.

Adele's collaborator Ryan Tedder reckons she is going to wow fans with her new music when she returns with her long-awaited record.
