Adele stunned a fan by helping orchestrate an emotional proposal during her two-hour TV special.
The show, titled One Night Only, included a performance by the singer at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, as well as an interview with her, conducted by Oprah Winfrey.
The programme, which aired in the US last night, featured a number of performances and candid admissions - with a particularly heartwarming moment coming during the concert portion.
It saw the 33-year-old ask the audience - which included celebrities such as Melissa McCarthy and Lizzo - for their help in order to pull off a surprise proposal.

The Easy on Me singer told them about a couple named Quentin and Ashley, who have been together for seven years.
She requested the lights be dimmed and asked the crowd to be quiet, teasing: "If you make a noise, I’m going to kill you."
Once the lights had lowered, Quentin was seen leading a blindfolded Ashley near to the stage, before kneeling down in front of her. After removing the blindfold, an emotional Ashley asked what he was doing.
Quentin thanked her for being patient and expressed pride over her. He said "this has been a long time coming," to which she replied: "I've been your girlfriend for so long."
He then asked her to marry him, with a teary-eyed Ashley responding "yeah." The crowd cheered as Quentin put the ring on his fiancée's finger before Adele returned to the stage.
Her arrival came much to the surprise of bride-to-be Ashley.
Jaw-dropped, a speechless Ashley could be seen looking around the audience in shock. Adele then congratulated the couple and invited them to take seats in the front row.

Adele then sang her version of Make You Feel My Love and dedicated the performance to the couple, who were sitting down.
During the performance, Ashley could be seen wiping tears from her eyes, which didn't go unnoticed by Adele - who commented in between lines: "She's crying her eyes out."
The two-hour special is yet to air in the UK, having debuted stateside last night on broadcaster CBS. It's said to now be available in the US on streaming service Paramount+.
