Adele is 'self-conscious over 7 stone weight loss and spent thousands on outfits'

Adele has reportedly been feeling self-conscious about her new-found attention over her seven stone weight loss.

The Hello hitmaker marked her 32nd birthday with an incredible slim snap showcasing her slender frame on Instagram in recent days.

Her celeb pals joined the rest of the world in commenting flattering compliments beneath the post.

However, it's claimed the singer has been left feeling embarrassed about the undivided attention she has been receiving.

Adele has allegedly spent thousands of dollars on kitting out a new wardrobe of clothes to parade her new slim figure.

A source told Heat magazine : “Adele is finding the attention very embarrassing.

“She admits that although she may now look the best she ever has, she still gets incredibly self-conscious about her appearance, and sometimes finds it hard to believe that she looks as good as people say she does.

“She says she’s shocked when she looks in the mirror, but she’s really enjoying buying so many new clothes and is having a blast trying things on – from skimpy dresses to statement red-carpet creations. It’s like she’s making up for lost time, and she’s spent thousands of dollars.”

The Mirror have approached Adele's representatives for further comment.

Adele has been the centre of headlines following her dramatic transformation.

The singer has put her heartache aside for training after she divorced husband Simon Konecki.

Instead, she has been focusing on herself and on her seven-year-old son Angelo.

Rumours were flying the singer could be going on tour again which was let slip by UK based personal trainer.
