Adele almost breaks the Internet with rumour she's dropping new music next week

Adele's fans are dedicated to say the least - and now the singer has the Internet ablaze with speculation she'll release new music next week.

After a four year hiatus, a tweet claims that the 31 year-old will be hitting us with a brand new track.

The tweet, from pop culture site Music News Facts, read: "@Adele will release her NEW ALBUMon Nov 8th 2019, according to Showbiz!

"This means that her lead single will drop as soon as next week."

Fans have gone wild speculation, including one who met the rumours with an emotional GIF of actress Emma Stone crying and eating ice cream as a reference to Adele's emotional ballads.

Another wrote: "I wanted to post something sincere for #NationalComingOutDay, but then I saw that Adele's new album has a release date and now that's the only coming out I can think about."

Her last album, which included smash hit Hello, was released as long ago as 2015.

She's been surrounded by speculation recently after striking up a romance with grime megastar, Skepta.

Their blossoming relationship comes after Adele announced her divorce from husband and father of her child, Simon Konecki.

Adele has reportedly introduced the Tottenham native to some of her closest mates, including talk show host and Gavin and Stacey star James Corden.

A source told The Sun : "No one saw it coming but there's a whirlwind romance going on between Adele and Skepta.

"It's been a bit of a brief fling so far. But these are two people who very much care about each other very much as friends so it's very exciting times.

"The fact Skepta has met Laura [Dockrill] and James seems like a positive sign. Everyone wants the best for them both."

The pair have been open about their friendship in the past, with the rapper telling ES Magazine in 2016: "Adele texts me all the time and keeps me in check. She speaks to me about how things are going."
