Adele fans convinced new album will release within days after mysterious billboards appear

Adele fans are hopeful the star’s latest album could release within days after a string of mysterious billboards appeared around the world.

The rumour mill has been in overdrive over the past few months, with many fans convinced that the 33-year-old’s follow up to her last album, ’25’, could come this year.

It is believed a new album was on the cards for release last year, but the plans were put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Mirror reports.

Now fans firmly believe Adele’s new work could be released before the year’s out due to two key factors.

Fans are convinced that '30' billboards in Dubai are about Adele's new album (Twitter)

Several social media posts have sprung up over the past 24 hours showing the number 30 on billboards and projections around the world.

A building in Dubai had the number projected onto the side of it, while buildings in Ireland have been plastered with huge billboards featuring the number 30 written in yellow against a grey-green-blue backdrop.

Many fans have speculated that it is the title of Adele’s new album following the release of her debut, 19, back in 2008, second album 21 in 2011 and the album titled 25 in 2015.

Taking to Twitter on Friday, one fan explained in response to the new billboards writing: “ADELE IS COMING!!! OMG!!!”

And another concurred, writing: “I'M SHAKING ADELE IS COMING OMG #30.”

Meanwhile, the decision by Taylor Swift to rearrange the re-release of her own album, Red, has left fans speculating it is a strategically orchestrated move to leave the door open for Adele to enjoy easy chart success.

Taking to social media at the end of the week, 31-year-old Taylor announced she was pulling her planned release of Red from November 19 up to November 12.

Fans are now convinced this means Adele’s 30 album will be released on November 19 instead.

Taylor wrote via Instagram : “Got some news that I think you’re gonna like – my version of Red will be out a week earlier than scheduled (including the 4 disc vinyl) on November 12th!

“Can’t wait to celebrate the 13th with you and our new/old autumn heartbreak album.”

Taylor has been re-releasing her back catalogue with new versions of all her old songs after her rights were signed away from the original versions following a music deal.

Meanwhile, a radio host named Mauler has claimed that new music will be coming from Adele within a week.

He took to Twitter – in a since deleted tweet – which declared: “New Adele. This week.”

The message sparked a flurry of debate from the fans of the Rolling In The Deep singer – with many convinced she will release a new single in the coming days ahead of the album next month.
