Adele effect sees 200% increase in holiday bookings

Holiday specialists On the Beach has seen a leap in demand for holidays in Las Vegas, and says the increase in bookings coincides with Adele’s five-month Caesars Palace stint. Since July this year, when the superstar announced she would be returning to Vegas, bookings have gone through the roof.

There has also been an additional boost since Adele’s opening night on Friday, November 18.

Zoe Harris, chief customer officer at On the Beach, said: “As soon as the news of Adele announcing her new dates in Vegas broke, our bookings went stratospheric.

“And our holiday analysts noticed a further sudden jump in the number of bookings, hours after Adele disappeared in that shower of pink confetti at her first show.

“It is the first time we’ve ever witnessed Vegas taking over Florida in booking popularity too, which tells you something about the sheer power and pull of Adele.”

Of the bookings to the USA recorded by On the Beach this year, 72% of the total holidays purchased are to Las Vegas.

Reservations for Jan 2023 alone, have increased by 200% from takings in 2022. February 2023 has shot up by 123% from the same period the previous year. And March is already seeing a 21% increase in demand compared to last year.

Current On the Beach deals to Las Vegas include:
