Adele has broken her silence weeks after her split from husband Simon Konecki was announced.
The break-up had been confirmed in a statement by the singer's representatives last month. Adele and Simon were married in 2016 after five years of dating and share six-year-old son Angelo.
Proving she's lost none of her sense of humour through her latest heartbreak, Adele returned to social media on Wednesday with a hilarious meme.
Taking to Instagram , Adele shared two side-by-side snaps of her - one where she was sobbing and another showing the pop star oozing sass.
"When you catch yourself in your feelings then you remember who you are," read the caption.
The award-winning chart-topper was soon inundated with praise from her loyal fanbase.
"Adele is a boss bitch!!!!!!" responded one.
"That’s right lady!!! Remember who you are!!!" added another.
"Hell yes girl! I feel you!" cried a third.

Adele confirmed she had separated from husband of three years Simon, 45, in a statement last month.
Following the announcement, rumours have been circulating that Adele and Simon were 'living separate lives' for some time and the Hello singer has already moved on with another man.
A source told The Daily star that the mum has been telling those close to her: "'I'm divorced now, so I'm trying to find my new normal.'

They added: 'Publicly, Adele is saying as little as possible about the split. But, privately, she's been very open about the fact that she and Simon have already divorced.
'She's been telling friends that the marriage is done and dusted.'
While a source claimed to The Sun that Adele has been on a series of dates with a man that looks just like her ex Simon during her time in New York.
"She has developed a real soft spot for American guys since living in LA and had a kiss with a very handsome gentleman in a New York bar. He had a big beard like Simon, but it was tidier and more groomed," they claimed.
