Adele and Skepta have reignited rumours they are dating after being spotted out shopping together at a bargain discount designer store.
The 33-year-old Rolling in the Deep singer was linked to the 38-year-old That’s Not Me rapper – whose real name is Joseph Adenuga – were first linked last year.
Adele went to lengths to insist that she was not dating anyone and claimed she was, in fact, single – making a public declarations about her romantic life not long after she hosted Saturday Night Live last October.
But now the chart topping star has been spotted out looking for bargains – and mingling with fellow shoppers – at a discounted designer outlet in California alongside the fellow musician.
According to PageSix, Adele and Skepta were spotted together shopping for discounted Prada products at the Cabazon Outlets, a discount mall just outside San Bernardino.
A source told the gossip column: “She was sitting watching him while he was picking sweaters, pants, trying on jackets and coats and having the employees help him.
“She was giving him feedback and saying what she thought he looked great in.
“It was cute that just waiting and being a normal girlfriend while he looked. He must have shopped for 45 minutes.”
The source also claimed Adele stopped to play with a puppy belonging to a fellow shopper.
The shopping trip comes after the singer claimed she was young, free and single – following her split form businessman Simon Konecki, who she finalised divorcing earlier this year.
Adele wrote on Instagram after her SNL presentation slot last year: “I’m going back to my cave now to be the (single) cat lady that I am!”
Adele was married to 47-year-old Simon in 2016 after five years of dating – but split in September 2019.
The couple share a son named Angelo together who was born in October 2012.
It was reported earlier this year that Adele and Simon had reached a divorce settlement – which saw the singer forced to carve up her £140 million fortune.
Adele has always been relatively tight lipped on her romantic life, sharing crumbs of details about her romantic life on stage with fans – although penning iconic heartbreak anthems including Someone Like You and Hello as a profession.
It has been speculated Adele will release a new album of music at some point this year, after delaying the release of her fourth album last year due to the ongoing pandemic – with fans possibly learning more about her romantic life via her autobiographical tunes as a result.
She surprised fans back in 2017 when she suddenly declared Simon was her “husband” after months of speculation that they had married in secret, away from the eyes of the paparazzi.
Rumours have circulated since last year that Adele and Skepta are dating – although both music stats have refused to confirm or deny the rumours directly.
