A host of famous faces were spotted at F1 Silverstone in Northampton ahead of the Grand Prix this afternoon, including the likes of Adele, Tine Tempah, Lewis Capaldi, Jeremy Clarkson and Hannah
Adele, 38, who recently opened up about her passion with race car driving, was one of the earliest celebrities to be spotted in the paddock on Sunday, July 5.
The superstar singer went to the event with her 13-year-old son Angelo, who is understood to be just as enthusiastic about all things F1.
The pair were joined by a flurry of other famous faces at Silverstone as they watched Charles Leclerc triumph for the first time. Famous spectators included Tinie Tempah, Lewis Capaldi, Queen guitarist Brian May, Sam Claflin, Rebekah and Jamie Vardy and Hannah Waddingham.
Charles secured his first won of the season in a tense race with Andrea Kimi Antonelli who finally faltered towards the end of a thrilling Formula 1 British Grand Prix.
Adele was previously spotted at the US Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, in October last year, where she appeared in pictures alongside Mercedes' two drivers, George Russell and Kimi Antonelli.
This week, Adele spoke about her shared love of F1 racing with her son. In a video shared by McLaren Racing on Friday, Adele said her son was “really into karting and things like that”.
“He just sort of asked about it a couple of years ago and I was like, ‘Alright’. I don’t know many teenagers now that have an actual passion. So I’m really trying to encourage it.”
“When your kid has an interest, you have to get into it. And more importantly, I think you have to be interested in it.”
The singer then admitted she did not expect to “bond with my soon-to-be 14-year-old son about something so passionate where we argue about drivers”.
“But it’s fun to have that interaction with a teenage boy in 2026. I wasn’t expecting it.”
