Adelaide man Nikola Milosevic guilty of bashing murder of housemate over bad internet connection

An Adelaide man has been found guilty of murdering his housemate following a dispute about a bad internet connection.

Nikola Milosevic, 39, used a baseball bat, wheelie bin and bicycle to bash 52-year-old Danny Barber to death at their North Plympton share house in August 2019.

The jury took less than three hours to find Milosevic guilty of the murder in South Australia's Supreme Court.

Milosevic had pleaded guilty to Mr Barber's manslaughter but claimed he was acting in self-defence and "did not intend to kill him".

Prosecutors told the court during the eight-day trial the victim was struck more than 30 times during an attack that happened over several hours.

Milosevic had admitted to Mr Barber's manslaughter but pleaded not guilty to his murder.

He will be sentenced at a later date.
