A man has been arrested after allegedly attempting to intimidate a witness.

Police will allege three men assaulted a witness in a major indictable matter on July 15 at Seaford.

The trio were later arrested and charged with assault and unlawful detention offences and remanded in custody.

One of the three men arrested at the time, a 31-year-old Northfield man, was arrested today and charged with threatening a person in judicial proceedings to influence an outcome.

Police will allege the offending occurred between September 6 and November 4.

The man was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.

The co-accused, a 34-year-old Seaford woman, was charged with the same offence on November 5.

She was remanded in custody until February 15, 2022.
