Arrivals on flights from Sydney to Adelaide on Sunday evening say they were told they would need to either go into 14 days' quarantine or return to Sydney despite arriving hours before the state's coronavirus border closure.
While some said they were offered the choice of booking flights back to Sydney or going into hotel quarantine, South Australia Police has announced the arrivals will not have to quarantine, but will instead have to get tested within 24 hours, then on day five and day 12 after arriving.
