McCormack to Mulumbu - every free agent Nottingham Forest can sign now

Despite the recent suspension of professional football in England, Nottingham Forest could still add new players to their squad.

The EFL have suspended all football until April 30 due to the recent coronavirus outbreak, meaning the season is set to be extended past the original scheduled finish.

Forest currently lie in fifth place in the Sky Bet Championship table, and will have hopes of promotion to the Premier League if and when the season resumes.

And despite the season currently being suspended, Forest could in theory add players to their squad who are currently out of work.

The Reds brought in three news faces in January, as Sabri Lamouchi looks to guide the club to promotion to the Premier League.

Adama Diakhaby arrived on loan from Huddersfield Town, while Nuno da Costa and Gaetan Bong were signed on permanent deals from Strasbourg and Brighton, respectively. Marcus McGuane's move from Barcelona was subsequently confirmed by the Reds.

Jack Robinson (Sheffield United), Claudio Yacob (Nacional), Chema Rodriguez (Getafe) and Costel Pantilimon (Omonia) all left the club.

Lamouchi also recalled Tyler Walker from Lincoln City, the striker hitting 14 goals on loan to the League One side.

However, their business might not be done just yet.

They can still sign free agents, with no window restricting the movement of those without a club.

Might Lamouchi be tempted to dip into the market of players unattached for some extra inspiration?

Here's a list of players who are currently free agents, per website Transfermarkt, with their most recent club next to their name.
