PHOENIX _ Erik Spoelstra has made it mantra through the struggles and the injuries.
"We have enough."
He said it following Thursday's practice and then again at Friday's shootaround.
His team then went out, in the absences of Hassan Whiteside and Wayne Ellington, and proved that at least on this night against this opponent, they had more than enough, with the Miami Heat pushing past the Phoenix Suns 115-98 Friday night at Talking Stick Resort Arena.
Having Goran Dragic back gave the Heat plenty. As did getting a career night from second-year center Bam Adebayo.
Of course, against the league-worst 4-22 Suns not much is needed, especially with Devin Booker and T.J. Warren sidelined.
No matter, with double-doubles from Adebayo and Dragic, and with Justise Winslow scoring a season-high 20 points on 7-of-8 shooting, the Heat opened their six-game trip on a positive note.
Adebayo closed with a career-high 22 points and 10 rebounds. Dragic finished with 11 points and a season-high 10 assists.
Whiteside missed the game awaiting the birth of his first child, Ellington away from the team for the funeral of his grandmother.
