Adam Thomas sparks soap nostalgia as he asks about 'getting jobs back' with actor pals

Adam Thomas has sparked some serious nostalgia among soap fans.

The former Emmerdale actor met up with brother Ryan Thomas, aka Coronation Street's Jason Grimshaw for a catch-up - and there were two other soap stars in tow.

They were joined by fellow actors Dean Gaffney and Chris Fountain.

Viewers will best remember Dean for playing the role of Robbie Jackson in BBC soap EastEnders while Chris is known for his role as Justin Burton in Hollyoaks and for playing Tommy Duckworth in Corrie.

And despite being mates, Adam was just as in awe.

"What do you get when Holyoaks, Emmerdale, Corrie and EastEnders walk in to a bar!?" he joked alongside a snap of the group on Instagram.

"Didn’t realise until someone mentioned it but am sat with soap royalty here!! Say what you want about the man behind the character including myself, but we all brought you some good telly if I do say so myself!

"One thing I know for sure is, each three of these gentlemen have my upmost respect…"

Adam, who played Adam Barton in Emmerdale, went on: "Mad to think with out our jobs we probably never would of crossed paths, so for that reason alone, I owe so much to the wonderful world of soap…

"Not too mention the best adventure of all time doing a job you love for years and getting paid to do it… it’s hard to call such a thing a job!

"What a beautiful thing to be part of … and what beautiful men you are… @fountain1987 @ryanthomas84 @deangaffney1."

The restaurant owner then cheekily added: "Now can we have our jobs back!?"

And fans appear to be on board.

"I would love to see you all back in your soaps," charlottexlock said.

@natalie.barbi2019 added: "You all look fantastic and I loved all the soaps you guys were in.2

"So overdue to all be back on your respective soaps!!" @nnyl2431 commented.

@clairexsx1980 simply replied: "Love love love this."

Kelvin Fletcher, who is best know for playing Andy Sugden in Emmerdale, commented on the post: "What a crew."

Dean himself also echoed Adam's words, writing: "Upmost respect for you my friend, always."

While Chris added: "Love this!! Love you boys."
