The folks over at Pro Football Focus have put together their list of the top 101 players from the 2018 season.
Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen appears at No. 30. He joins Danielle Hunter (98) and Harrison Smith (101) as Vikings on the list.
Here’s what PFF wrote about Thielen:
Adam Thielen cemented himself as a hands-down number one wide receiver in 2018. He earned a receiving grade of 89.5, ranking seventh at the position and gained an average of 2.10 yards per route run, tied for 18th out of 108 qualifying wide receivers.
This is Thielen’s second straight season on the list. And it’s not a surprise after his huge 2018 season. Thielen finished with career highs of 113 catches for 1,373 yards and nine touchdowns while also being named to his second straight Pro Bowl.
Thielen started the season on an absolute tear, opening the season with eight straight 100-yard games. He fell off a bit later in the season, much as the Vikings did as a team. But he solidified himself as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.
